Dr. Salzer created her Youthful, Beautiful Smile Profile because "women are very
concerned about their health and appearance, but dental hygiene is one area of critical importance
that is very often overlooked." Dr. Salzer adds, "A healthy mouth equals a healthy smile. I want
women to understand that their mouths do, in fact, age and to be aware of the factors that
contribute to the aging process. My reasoning is, if women understand what ages them, they will
learn how to correct it so they will look just as young as they feel!"
Dr. Salzer graduated from Duke University in 1993 and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery
degree from New York University (NYU) in 1997. She went on to obtain her certificate in
Orthodontics from NYU in 1999. During this time, Dr. Salzer was also a Ford runway model. In
addition to attending to thousands of smiles in her private practice on Park Avenue in Manhattan,
Dr. Salzer is an associate faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry. She has been a featured
national speaker for Invisalign orthodontic products by Align Technology and has given numerous
lectures on various aspects of dentistry and dental hygiene.
